Will I be welcomed?
Absolutely. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted by friendly people who genuinely care. We’re not perfect people—we’re forgiven people—and we want you to feel at home from your first step through the doors.
What should I wear?
You’ll see everything from jeans to more traditional Sunday wear. We care far more about you than what you’re wearing.
What does Friends Baptist believe?
We believe the Bible is God’s Word and still relevant for our lives today. Our teaching is rooted in Scripture, centered on Jesus Christ, and focused on helping people live out their faith with clarity and conviction. While culture is always changing, God’s truth never does—and we’re committed to leading with truth, not following the crowd.
What about my kids?
Your children are important to us. We provide safe, clean, and engaging environments where kids can learn about Jesus at their level. Our volunteers are trained, screened, and passionate about partnering with parents to help children grow in their faith.
You can even pre-register your child so they will be in the system when you arrive.
What is the worship service like?
Our services are Christ-centered, Bible-driven, and welcoming. You can expect meaningful worship, clear preaching from God’s Word, and a friendly atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to engage—whether this is your first time in church or you’ve been attending for years.
Will I be singled out as a visitor?
Short answer, no. We want you to feel welcomed, not awkward. As a guest you are invited after the service to guest reception which gives our leadership team the chance to greet you and give you a special gift.
How long is the service?
Most services last about an hour and a half, making it easy for individuals and families to plan their morning.
What kind of people attend Friends Baptist?
People from all walks of life. Families, singles, seniors, longtime believers, and those still asking questions. What unites us is a shared desire to know Christ, grow in faith, and live out biblical truth in today’s world.
